In the past few days, the agreement between Disney and YouTube and officially YouTube announced in Blogpost that there no longer available Disney channels like ESPN, ABC, FOX, National Geographic, and many more.
But luckily today, YouTube and Disney reached a deal to put more dozens of Disney Channels back on YouTube TV.
“We’re happy to share that we’ve reached an agreement with Disney to return their content to YouTube TV while preserving a $64.99/mo. price for our members. We have already started to restore access to Disney networks like ESPN and FX, including their live and on-demand content, as well as any recordings that were previously in your Library. We will also be turning on the local ABC stations over the course of the day”.
You won’t believe because of this disruption both YouTube and Disney will face million dollars lost but this greatly now you will see Disney on YouTube.
Here’s the list of Disney-owned channels that are now available on YouTube TV:
- Your local ABC channel
- ABC News Live
- Disney Channel
- Disney Junior
- Disney XD
- National Geographic
- National Geographic Wild
- ESPN3 (by authentication to the ESPN app)
- SEC Network
- ACC Network
As YouTube said before it will reduce price $15 from $64.99 to $49.99 but for now accordion to YouTube “For active members who have not yet received that $15 discount on their monthly bill, you will automatically receive a one-time credit on your next bill with no action needed.”
