Apple recently launched an app called Tracker Detect that also helps Android users find AirTags.
Before this app, People who have iPhones will only get a message on their phone if the Airtag is out of range. But people with Android phones might not be able to track it. If they haven’t seen it for 8-24 hours, the Airtag will start to make a sound after a while. That way, bad people can use it for tracking someone.
It’s designed to detect both rogue AirTags and as well other tracking devices compatible with Apple’s Find My network. You can directly download this app from the Play store. Tracker Detect App is intended to prevent AirTags from being misused. According to PC MAG, Criminals and stalkers have employed AirTags as a low-cost surveillance technique, according to recent news.
Apple said that in June it would release separate anti-stalking security to protect Android users. As true to its words Apple release this free app named Tracker Detect.
App’s description that written by company,
“Tracker Detect looks for item trackers that are separated from their owner and that are compatible with Apple’s Find My network. These item trackers include AirTag and compatible devices from other companies. If you think someone is using AirTag or another device to track your location, you can scan to try to find it.”
This sounds pretty good that now android users will also have this standard of security as iPhone users have for AirTags.
