According to a report of 9to5mac and RT Apple is still fighting with Russia over alleged App store abuse, it is also reported Apple is asking for judicial review of the Federal Antimonopoly Service warning from August which allows developers to mention alternatives to the App store Payment system.
The last date Sept 30th given to Apple to change its policies by FAS, but the company reject the notice to change its rule according to Apple it is fine.
The judge ordered the tech firm against Apple to let App Store point other payment methods but apple in the hope to delay the tech firm.
Now, Apple will make changes in its policy for some apps in 2022.
Though Apple still makes most of the money from hardware sales, no doubt third-party apps hurt Apple revenue and there’s also possible that third-party apps point users to malicious sites.
Apple does not have a second choice because regulators are unlikely to let the matter slide.
