WhatsApp let users turn on disappearing message by default

As all Internet Geeks know, Facebook’s name is changed to Meta, which means metaverse technology.

Meta-owned WhatsApp, likely releases more privacy policies to ensure user data, but there are some allegations on WhatsApp for user data management.

Although, now WhatsApp release a disappearing message feature, which allows you to set messages in a chat to automatically be deleted after a set period of time.

It doesn’t mean that all your existing messages disappear, but when you start a one-to-one chat, a small notification will appear that shows disappearing messages feature is turned on.

Going forward, however, there will also be the option of deleting them after just 24 hours or 90 days. The new functionality was previously reported as being in development by WABetaInfo.

You’ll also have the option to off the Disappearing Message feature for individual chats.
