Apple delays full office reopening and is giving every employee a $1,000 bonus. As we see Covid-19 cases are again rising all over the world as well in the U.S. Apple postpones the return to office date. The date is yet to be determined.
On Wednesday CEO Tim Cook sent this letter to staff and the letter is focused on,
“The company’s date to come back to work is not yet decided and encouraging all the employees’ Covid-19 vaccine and booster. Our offices remain open and many of our colleagues are coming in regularly, including our teams in Greater China and elsewhere,” Tim Cook wrote. As we look forward to more of our teams being together again, we will continue to make decisions based on local conditions and will be sure to notify you at least four weeks before beginning the pilot.”
Also giving 1000$ of bonus to each employee announced by Tim Cook. Apple voice Nick Leahy confirmed a $1,000 bonus for all Apple employees. This also includes the people who work in the stores.

Apple also closes 3 retail stores due to the growth of Covid-19’s new omicron variant cases. Also, Tim Cook told employees in the letter that he was “grateful” for their flexibility and resilience.
“You continue to prove how much we can accomplish when we take on our challenges with boldness, creativity, and — most importantly — together,” Cook said.
